Fade
The cut that goes from longer on top to shorter at the bottom, with no hard line between the lengths. It works for straight, wavy or curly hair.
How to ask for it
Fade: steps down to a short guard
Skin fade: goes down to the skin at the bottom, with a razor on the edges

Barber, skin fades

In the chair
What happens in the chair
- 015 min
Step 1: We talk it through
You tell us how you want it and show us a photo. We look at how your hair grows and which guard suits it.
- 0215 min
Step 2: The base
Clippers, with the longest guard on top and the shortest at the bottom.
- 0315–20 min
Step 3: The blend
We step the guards up and down until you cannot see where the length changes. On a skin fade, the razor finishes the job.
- 045–10 min
Step 4: The finish
Line-up, sideburns and neck. We show you the result from the front and the back.
People who keep a fade up usually come back every two to three weeks.
Questions about the fade
How long does it take?
Between 40 and 55 minutes, depending on the length of your hair and whether it goes down to the skin.
What do I bring to the chair?
A photo of what you want. If you do not have one, we talk it over and the barber suggests something.
Can I ask for a barber?
Yes. When you book or on WhatsApp, say who you want to sit with. If you walk in, the board shows when it is your turn.
Book your chair
Booked or walked in, the fade is made the same way.
